Art Exhibition
Last Friday, our Year 10 design students braved the sleet and snow to enjoy the latest exhibitions at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.
The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the leading international centre for modern and contemporary sculpture, founded in 1977 by Sir Peter Murray CBE. The Yorkshire Sculpture Park is the first sculpture park in the UK and the largest in Europe.
Our student participated in a guided walk around the park, looking at the works of Henry Moore and Damien Hurst. Inside the gallery, the Erwin Wurm show was a big hit with students which included sculptures, paintings, videos and lots of giant hotdogs!
Despite the weather, the students had a great time interacting with a variety of artwork exhibits.
