GCSE RESULTS 2018
Congratulations to all students who achieved excellent results in their summer GCSE examinations. Results were once again well above national average scores across a range of headline indicators.
Students performed strongly across a wide range of subjects, including mathematics, English literature and French.
There were many outstanding individual achievements across the year group, including Baljeevan Athwal who achieved eight grade 9s, one grade 8 and 3 A*s. Particular congratulations also go to Ben Grace, Matthew Warnes, Zoë Beaverstock, George Cashmore, Maya Korpal and Elizabeth Thom who achieved at least five grade 9s across their range of subject qualifications.
Gary Peat (Headteacher):
“We are delighted with the excellent examination results achieved by our students, across a range of key headline measures. The positive results reflect the hard work of all students and the dedication of both teaching and support staff across the school.
As well as high academic performance, we also recognise and value the wider achievements of our students across a range of specialisms, including music, sport and the performing arts.
Congratulations to all our students who have been justifiably rewarded for their hard work and committed approach to their courses. We are very proud of their achievements and wish them well for their collective futures as they now begin their post-16 studies”.
